Cute little cafe with amazing views of Hastings Old Town and port.

This place is quite popular, partly due to its unique location on Hastings West Hill and spectacular views over the Old Town, amusement arcades, beach and the sea, and partly because it's quite good value. There aren't many other eateries in the vicinity, so after you've hiked up the hill and have got your breath back it's the ideal spot to nip in for a cup of tea to revive your senses! It offers quite simple fare and caters to an unpretentious clientele, so don't expect haute cuisine! I'm probably going to go there the next time I find myself up on the hill, assuming I don't pack a thermos

Excellent cafe and service. On the day I visited the young waiter was extremely polite and helpful and took the time to explain a little history of the town and the pier. It was really refreshing to meet a young person who went out of his way to make customers feel so welcome. I found the food was well prepared and of good value. I returned the next day for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious bacon sandwich and a pot of tea If you are in Hastings please make a point of visiting. Views from the terrace are superb!
